Her Hometown Redemption by Rachel Brimble ♥ Fun Facts & GIVEAWAY ♥ (Contemporary Romance)

When Tanya Todd returns to Templeton Cove, she knows better than to expect a warm welcome. She burned a few bridges on her way out of town, and making amends won't be easy. First on her list is the man whose heart she carelessly shattered, Liam Browne.

Seeing the successful criminal lawyer after all these years, Tanya is interested in more than just Liam's forgiveness. As they work together to bring the man who hurt her sister to justice, the attraction between them sizzles. Suddenly Tanya's second chance could include a future with Liam…if she can prove she's changed.

Welcome to Templeton Cove…

It’s great to be here today and have the chance to tell your visitors a little bit about my fictional UK seaside town of Templeton Cove. HER HOMETOWN REDEMPTION is book 5 set in this small town which I have become to know and love as a real place.

It has always been a dream of mine to write a series of books set in the same small town…due to my obsession with many Nora Roberts series, Jill Shalvis’ Lucky Harbor series and Robyn Carr’s Virgin River series. All of these books influenced my love of small town romances and creating a huge cast of characters.

The debut book in the Templeton Cove series is Finding Justice. When my agent submitted this book to Harlequin, I was already writing book two, A Man Like Him, with the hope both books would just be the start of a series. These books were soon contracted…you can imagine my hysteria when Harlequin offered me a contract for a further three! (What Belongs To Her & Christmas At The Cove and Her Hometown Redemption)

All the books can be read stand-alone and are a mix of mainstream romance and romantic suspense stories. I have some main recurring characters who pop up in, if not all, of the books. The most popular of these characters with me, and my readers, is the town’s matriarch, Marian Cohen. She’s feisty, fun and has a heart big enough to hold the whole world – she’s the oracle, the person all the young hero and heroines…and secondary characters go to when they need help, comfort or advice. She is a joy to write every time!

The more Templeton Cove books I release, the more people seem to enjoy them and I have at a proposal for two more sitting on my editor’s desk as we speak. I love the Cove and its residents so much, I’m not entirely sure when I will ever consider the series finished but, for now, I’m just enjoying the ride 

If you like small-town romance, with a cast of quirky, fun and sentimental characters with lots of laughter, tears, suspense and adventure, I’d love you to give Templeton Cove a try!

The hero and heroine in Her Hometown Redemption (Liam Browne & Tanya Todd) appeared as secondary characters in the third book, What Belongs To Her. During the writing of that book, it becomes clear there is some kind of history between these two but it’s never fully revealed.

It wasn’t long after I written that story that Tanya started to harass me––nudging me and eventually begging me to get on and write her and Liam’s new future. What can I say? The woman can be kind of scary so I had no choice but to comply.

Here’s hoping you enjoy their journey enough that you’ll want to get to know all the residents better. Happy reading!

He stepped toward the window and peered through the small gap between the frame and the closed blind. An array of glass display cabinets stood side by side, waiting to be filled with whatever party planners filled cabinets with, as well as what looked like a rolled rug or carpet. He was about to pull back and get his ass over to his own office where it belonged, when a very female shadow passed over the cabinets. Judging by the curve of breasts he remembered only too well, Tanya had just made herself visible. He smiled. “Got you.”

He walked back to the door and bent down, pushing open the letterbox. “Tanya, open up. I know you’re in there. Look, I just want to talk to you, okay?” Liam darted his gaze over the gleaming white floor tiles and a stack of boxes. “If you’re still upset about the whole tossing you on the couch thing, I’m sor––”

A brief glance of black denim clad legs whipped into his limited vision before a lock clicked. Tanya flung the door open with such force he nearly fell face first onto her office floor. He gripped the doorjamb and straightened.

She stared into his eyes, her darkening with sadness. “You’re right. We do need to talk.”

He frowned. “Are you okay?”

She blinked. “I’m sorry I hurt you.”

His smile dissolved and his heart kicked painfully. “What?”

“I’m sorry for a lot of things, but I’m sorry for hurting you most of all.”

When a tear slipped down her cheek, Liam reached for her before he could think just how stupid a mistake that might be. “Hey, come here.”

Taking her hand in his, Liam leaned down to retrieve his briefcase before kicking the door closed. Dropping the case a second time, he led Tanya to a low wooden cabinet and drew his hands to her waist, lifted her and sat her down on top. Her legs opened and he stood between them…just like he used to.
