Almost Hitched by Kylie Gilmore ♥FREE eBook, Pre-Order Spotlight & GIVEAWAY ♥ (Contemporary Romance)

After a very satisfying long-distance relationship (following their very public relationship in Almost Romance), Kate Lewis and Ian Furnukle agree it’s time to get hitched.

Except their jobs are thousands of miles apart.

And their trial run of living together didn’t go so well.

And one of them has cold feet.

But that’s nothing that true love (and some explosive chemistry) can’t fix. If only love were a science.

A perfect ending for these two!

As usual, Kylie wrote a phenomenal book. The balance of emotion, humor and hotness was absolutely fantastic, and I am THRILLED that she will be writing a new series!!!

I was so happy reading this because I first met Kate and Ian in book 1 of the STUDS series, and I loved reading how they finally got their Happily Ever After. (While reading book 1 isn't necessary to understand this one, I really enjoyed knowing their background together).

Kate was a very interesting character because she took a very analytical approach to relationships; tried to make something objective out of a purely subjective topic. Seeing her struggles and revelations were comical at times but always very endearing.

Ian almost had me in tears towards the end (no spoilers!). His laid-back-ness was a perfect foil to Kate, and I loved reading his complete acceptance of her and his fierce determination to keep her.

All in all, another amazing contemporary romance written by an amazing author and I can't wait for the next amazing book!!!

***I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***

“You’d better hurry up,” Ian growled.

Kate giggled, which warmed his heart. She so rarely giggled. She was a very serious physicist. He loved that he could bring out this lighter side of her.

“Ian! I can’t think when you touch me. You know there’s a short circuit from my brain to my libido!”

“I love your short circuit.”

She tossed her hair over her shoulder. “I blame it on chemistry.”

“Uh-huh. Give it to me.”

She slowly ran her hands down the suspenders from her shoulders, over her breasts, to her narrow waist. He couldn’t take his eyes off those hands. He’d watched her touch herself for weeks at his direction over Skype, but in person it was torture. He wanted his hands on her so badly. Her hands crossed the bar that went between her breasts, and she let out a soft moan as she stroked across her nipples. His cock pulsed with need. Her hands met in the middle of the bar before sliding back to her sides. “You watched the shape of my outfit,” she said, her voice a husky purr that showed her own arousal. “You recognize it?”

He blinked, his mind fuzzy as primal caveman instinct took over. Me no want surprise. Me want woman. “Just tell me. I can’t think.”

She giggled, and his eyes snapped to hers. “The outfit is an H. I’m hydrogen.” She closed the distance between them, hips swaying, a small smile playing over her sweet pink lips. “And you’re the one electron orbiting me.”

Yes, he knew all this. They were monogamous. It was why she’d gone on the pill.

“I love you in this,” he told her.

“I had it made special for you,” she said in a husky voice before dropping to her knees in front of him. Aw, yeah. His favorite. What little blood supply he had left in his brain deserted him. He was about to bust the zipper on his jeans.

“Marry me,” she said.

What!

Clover Park STUDS, Book 1

A humorous friends to lovers romance from USA Today bestselling author Kylie Gilmore.

"...Delightful and highly recommended!" USA Today HEA blog 5 star review

The hero of Almost in Love, Barry Furnukle, appears in the Clover Park series too starting with Bad Taste in Men where he's the "villain."

Successful entrepreneur Barry Furnukle is ready to take things to the next level with the pink-haired neighbor he adores. But when his attempt to woo her with the world’s most “awesome” date (birding and fro-yo) lands him in the friend zone, he wonders if a guy like him ever had a chance.

On advice from his ladies’ man brother, Barry returns to his acting roots for a little confidence rehab. Suddenly he’s got more female attention than he knows what to do with. But will his new found popularity make him happy? Or will he finally release his inner stud to win the woman he can’t forget?

Hey, you! Thanks for stopping by. I’m not one of those writers who always dreamed of being a writer. In fact, I found English class a little too subjective and slightly suspicious—did all those writers really mean to have the initials J.C. secretly hidden in their stories? Poetry baffled me.

But romance made perfect sense.

Love, hope, a happy ending. The best.

Lucky for me, my mother was an avid reader and left romance novels all over the house. I picked one up at fifteen and fell in love. My all-time favorite romance to this day is Julie Garwood’s The Bride, which has not only a love story, but also witty, smart banter that had me laughing out loud. (In fact I sent Ms. Garwood a fan letter asking how she did it. She responded personally telling me to join Romance Writers of America. Smart lady).

I live in New York with my family, two cats, a nutso dog, and a whole lotta chocolate, wine, and books.

Happy reading!

Kylie
