The Truth about Porn Star Boyfriends by Sunniva Dee πŸ’• 99¢ Sale, Review & EXCLUSIVE eBook Giveaway πŸ’• (Contemporary Romance)

I guess I just forgot.
To ask him what he did for a living, I mean.
And by the time I did, I was in—balls deep, as he’d call it.
He was the perfect boyfriend.
Attentive, gorgeous, guessing my every wish and fulfilling them.
The sex was earth-shattering.
He even dealt with my crazy mom the way no one else could.
He popped the question, God, such a perfect guy.
There was just one issue:
He f*cked other girls on camera for a living.
How the hell do you deal with that?

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so I get that the title may have you forming certain preconceived notions about this book.

But let me tell you.

This book was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Sunniva knocked it outta the park. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh!!! I'm still smiling from it, and I stopped reading like an hour ago.

Such a wonderful, low-stress, emotional-at-times contemporary romance...the story itself is like a modern-day fairy tale. I couldn't out it down! I blew through it in 2 sittings.

Oh, and Ciro is totally perfect. Sweet, sexy, compassionate, persistent. loyal...I might be in love with a figment of Sunniva's imagination. Lol!

And Savannah was just awkward enough to be realistic and extremely likable.

Throw in a cast of minor characters that added so much to the book in their own ways, and this is one of those books I will be reading again!

It’s been three days since he left.
I have a photo of him on my phone.
I know what to do with it.
He’s an actor. He makes films. All I need is to Google his photo, and I’ll get that artist name he doesn’t want to give me.
So much secrecy. Deep down I know why. The news that photo will bring me will be terrible, and I’m a dunce for not accepting the writing on the wall when it’s scribbled in black, sloppy italics all around me, yeah—dunce.
I should upload it to Google.
It’s so easy.
Ciro has rented a yacht for the weekend, and he’s paid off Il Signore to have me come along as his personal waitress. My boss knows we’re together, I’m sure. He also loves my boyfriend’s restaurant tip every time he orders out.
I’m on my bed after a long night shift at Mintrer’s, cell phone in hand and his beautiful, smiling picture open in my photo album. He looks at me like he thinks I’m the world. He looks at me like this photo is for me and I’d never betray him. He looks at me with love in his eyes.
He’ll be back on Thursday. It’s only four more days. What are four days when we have three indescribable months behind us? I owe it to him to wait.
I make his photo into my screensaver.
“I’ve made my mistakes,” Ciro said. “I want to do it right with you.”
At this point, I’m in so deep I need to be a part of doing it right too.
That twinge telling me I’m naive has grown with time. But there’s a bigger part of me aware of how Ciro has made me slide. He chose me. He chased me. He caught me.
My own hunt has been for perennial ice, never, never for my tomorrow. I know it’s not right. I know it’s not normal for a twenty-something. But I won’t judge me for Status Quo when I’ve sustained my goal all this time: I’ve kept my mother happy and alive, and I know for a fact that I’m the only thing anchoring her down.
Irrational and impractical, she’s always up there, always flying. She’d have no qualms with blowing her existence into pieces for the cause du jour, but despite the angst she causes, my mother is the kindest human I’ve ever known.
She doesn’t judge a person by appearance, by culture, by looks, or status. No, my mom will not accept bad in a person until it’s been shown by action that’s been repeated over and over. “People’s pasts set different standards in their lives, see?”
I fall asleep. I wake up thinking of him with Silk. Even a single scene for a lot of money isn’t worth it to my heart, and it makes me curl in on myself.
Are you sleeping? I text via Facebook, because phone is expensive to Europe.
Hey, BB. It’s five a.m. here.
Sorry. Why’s your phone on, then?
Because of my baby girl. <3
My heart inflates.
Do you love me? I can’t help typing.
I love you so much I’d haul the moon down for you.
Haha, no need.
And you? Do you still love me? No crazy wannabes trying to take you from me at Mintrer’s?
No. I <3 you too. You’re my only wannabe.
Good. I’d have to kick some asses first thing. J
I love his hearts and his smiley-faces.

It’s easy to sleep after them.

Grief comes in many forms.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve... Right?

Except, what if you douse that grief with sex

in ways so culturally unacceptable

you leave it to a veritable male harem

led by the porn-star brother of your fiancΓ©

to decide if you’ll emerge

from the jungle intact?

Twin Savage is standalone book #2 in the Porn Star Boyfriend series.

✨✨✨✨✨

It wasn't a problem to be the only girl in a house full of guys.

Until my fiancΓ© died and his identical twin took over the roost.

Sweet, easygoing Julian passed, while loathsome, bossy Luka, who pays his way through med school by getting his dick wet on film, is still alive.

What kind of twisted reality is this?

Now, Luka’s on a mission to fix both of our grief.

Like I’d ever accept anything from him.

He doesn’t understand that gorgeous and sexy mean nothing if you’re a promiscuous jerk.

If only the nights didn’t destroy me.

They’re painful and long and empty,

until, on a Monday night, my insomnia attracts Diego.

That Tuesday, it attracts Lenny.

Next, it’s Marlon, James, Nathaniel,

and on Saturday, it’s Connor.

By Sunday night, I get the picture.

This is Luka doing what Luka does: solve problems with sex.

His remote-controlled comfort leaves me in our roommates’ arms six of seven nights.

On Sunday, there’s only one man left in the house.

There’s no way in hell I’m opening my door—or my heart—to a porn star.

This ain't your typical romance.

That's what I love about Sunniva's books. She always inserts an unusual, unconventional element into the heart of the story, and its "wait, whaaaaat?"-ness just sucks you in and won't let go until "the end."

Yes, several aspects of this book could be off-putting to some people, but this is a fantastic example of wonderful creativity and masterful storytelling that reminds me how incredibly talented Sunniva is.

To be honest, I wasn't sure if I would like the book in the beginning, given how it began, but it all works out in the end and holy moly, Luka is hot. Lol!

I loved the almost mystical feel a segment of the book had when Geneva and Luka went on their "field trip." Again, it's a scenario I never would have expected, and I thought the whole thing was beautifully done. The whole book was beautifully done, and I can't wait for more in this series!!!

I’m not a saint. That’s not why I left the mafia.
I left because I’m god, because I need no one, and fail at nothing.

I’m Isaias Di Nascimbeni, owner of Lucid, the biggest adult entertainment studio in L.A. Son of Il Lince and second generation Italian in the U.S, I’m dirty rich and adored by highlife as well as lowlife.

Whatever I focus on turns to gold.
On the Richter’s scale of eye candy, I’m a twenty.
I’m a hunter who tests limits.
A warrior who goes shady when the law becomes dreary.

While conducting business at the St. Tatiana,
the most stunning woman I’ve ever seen enters my radar.
Isn’t it interesting that her name is Tatiana?
Isn’t it bizarre that she’s a nun?
Isn’t it wild that she’s unimpressed by me?

Isn't it fucking insane that I can’t get her out of my head?

She doesn’t acknowledge me when I return to her church.
It’s unprecedented. Unheard of. Not happening.
But the hunt is my fetish.
Novice or not, she’s only postponing the inevitable.
Beautiful Tatiana asked for this.
By the time I'm done, she’ll worship me, because now
it's game on.
Wow. I mean, just an AWESOME book!

I was ENTHRALLED. For me, this was one of those "can't put it down, read a paragraph whenever I have a free minute" books.

I loved how Isa was untouchable; didn't get attached, didn't want companionship...until Tatiana. The transformation Isa goes through once he meets her is just SO amazing to read!

And I LOVED catching up with Clown Irruption! I remember their respective stories from Walking Heartbreak and In The Absence of You (need...more...Clown...Irruption...stories), and the tease I got from Troy and Aishe was UNREAL. I don't think you need to have read those books to enjoy this one, but you will want to go back and read them!!!

Yep. Huge Sunniva fan. Can't wait for your next book!!!!

(I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)

Sunniva Dee is a reader, a lover of everything beautifully written no matter the genre. As an author, she pens flawed characters and seeks the flip side where the soul hides. Once there, she wants to be pulled out of her comfort zone by stories taking on a life of their own.

Sunniva has written paranormal and young adult. She’s committed contemporary romance verging on erotica, and she’s dabbled in supernatural mystery. But her heart
is rooted in new adult of the true kind: young adult all grown up, with conflicts and passions that are familiar to college-aged readers and readers who remember those days like they happened last night.
